Village School Student Vision
The students of Village School stand united to create a school that all students, families and teachers feel safe and comfortable to learn and take risks. To have an environment where all can live bully free lives. Where success is ensured with regular attendance of staff and students. The Code of Conduct is at the center of our learning and interactions with others.- honesty, courage, compassion, responsibility, and respect.

We are asking all families of students at Village Elementary to fill out this Parent Survey on Walking and Bicycling - an important part of the update to the Gorham Village Master Plan that is currently underway in town.
What to do:
It covers where you live (approximately), how your child(ren) get to school, and your impressions about walking & biking.

·ne survey should be completed per family.  If you have multiple children in the school, you should fill the survey out for the child you have at Village who will next have a birthday.

Why the Parent Survey is important:
The information you provide will be incredibly helpful to Gorham’s efforts to make it safer for students to walk and bike to school and after-school activities.

Walking and biking to school have been shown to improve academic performance and classroom behavior, improve safety & ease traffic congestion, help address childhood obesity concerns, decrease air pollution and carbon emissions, and may save school districts & municipalities money on busing costs.
Enter to Win a Physical Activity Prize Pack from the Public Health Program of the Opportunity Alliance!
Please put your name and a telephone number or e-mail in the Comments section of the Parent Survey  - and you will be entered to win one of several physical activity prize packs!
